Applying Frequency-Domain Unsteady Lifting-Line Theory to Time-Domain Problems

چکیده
Frequency-domain unsteady lifting-line theory is better developed than its time-domain counterpart. To take advantage of this, this paper transforms kinematics to the frequency domain, performs a convolution and then returns results back time-domain. It demonstrates how well-developed frequency-domain methods can be easily applied problems, enabling prediction forces moments on finite wings undergoing arbitrary kinematics.

seismic texture recognition in time-frequency domain
in seismic exploration studies different types of techniques are used to recognize seismic features in terms of their temporal and spatial spectra. variations in frequency content are sensitive to subtle changes in reflection information (castro de matos et al., 2003). in this study the joint time-frequency analysis is used for seismic texture recognition. discrete wavelet transform (dwt) witho...
متن کاملSubstructuring domain decomposition scheme for unsteady problems
Domain decomposition methods are used for approximate solving boundary problems for partial differential equations on parallel computing systems. Specific features of unsteady problems are taken into account in the most complete way in iteration-free schemes of domain decomposition. Regionally-additive schemes are based on different classes of splitting schemes. In this paper we highlight a cla...

متن کاملGeneric Tracking Specifications Translation from Time Domain to Frequency Domain
In certain types of robust control techniques, it is common having to deal with control problems where the specifications, described in the time domain, need to be translated to the frequency domain. This usually happens in techniques, such as Quantitative Feedback Theory, where the control problem is developed in the frequency domain. Therefore, not only process plants and disturbances should ...
متن کاملLine of CO by Frequency and Time Domain Techniques
The collisional broadening of the J ' J = 1 <— 0 rotational line of carbon monoxide by the buffer gases He, Ne, Ar, Kr, CO, N2, 0 2 , and air has been studied at room temperature. Two different experimental techniques in timeand frequency-domain, respectively, were used. The obtained data are in good agreement. Time-domain investigations on the temperature dependence of the foreign gas broadeni...
